Staff of Saxon Cuirassier regiments in 1701

In the previous post I placed the total Saxon military expenditures. The papers in the RGADA also contain regimental Etats & monthly salaries. Outstanding D. Schorr’s Notes on the Saxon army 1700-16 contains Etat for cavalry (cuirassiers) dated February 1700. The regiment consisted of 12 coys, 74 men per coy (incl. 64 gemeine), totaled 898 (incl. 10 of the regimental staff). As you can see, the Etat of 1701 from RGADA slightly differed from 1700 one. Date July 7 doesn’t mean that the Etat was issued that day; it means that it was in force by that day.
