Saxon Corps entered Poland to restore August the Strong, 21 August 1709

On 21 August 1709 Kurfurst of Saxony August the Strong crossed Oder with a strong Corps of Saxon cavalry & entered Poland to restore himself on Polish throne. He led the following troops:
Generalitet: GFM G.B. O'Gilvy, G-de-K Graf Flemming, GL v. Brause & Plotz, GM D.B. v. d. Schulenburg.
- Garde du Corps & Chevalier-Garde, 4 coys, 746 men
Kürassier-Regiments (7), each of 8 coys in 4 sqns, about 700 men per regiment:
- Leib-Kürassier
- GL Bernhard Friedrich v. Beust.
- Königin.
- Alexander Fürst v. Menzikoff (Prinz Alexander).
- Kurprinz.
- v. Damnitz.

- Alexander Dietrich v. Eichstädt.
Dragoner-Regiments (5), each of 8 coys in 4 sqns, about 700 men per regiment:
- Georg Wilhelm Erbprinz von Brandenburg-Bayreuth.
- GM Siegmund v. Brause.
- GM Daniel Bodo v. d. Schulenburg.
- GM Franz Joachim Frhr. v. d. Goltz.
- Burthard v. Wrangel.
