But wasn't Butler's regiment of dragoons created after 1629, when Jacob Butler moved with his soldiers from Polish to Imperial service? I need to check in Wrede. With that buffcoat he rather looks like very late 20's, early 30's soldier.
Aye, I check in Wrede - Jacob Butler's regiment started service in Imperial army in 1631, in 1633 was taken over by Walter Butler (when Jacob Butler and part of his regiment return to Poland to take part in Smolensk War).
Привет! Очень интересная графика этой формы (uniform). Вы помните, из какого это издания, книги или веб-сайта? Томаш из Польши, из района, где сражались войска Батлера.
